Puhi Peaks, Kaikoura, operates  with the vision of being a leading and innovative high country station in New Zealand. By inspiring others who visit this unique corner of our country and spend time , we hope to make a difference to all who visit and choose to spend time in our unique piece of Aotearoa. We undertake a variety of operations at Kaikoura Wilderness, including traditional farming, carbon sequestration, honey collection, a small selection of tourism activities in Puhi Peaks Nature Reserve and importantly a strong focus on management of our extraordinary Biodiversity. 

Formerly Kaikoura Wilderness Walks offered a world renowned small group 3 day private guided walk through Puhi Peaks Nature Reserve, staying at the unique eco Shearwater Lodge . The reserve is a protected Significant Area of International Importance, a haven for a diverse array of rare and endangered native species of New Zealand flora and fauna.
