Kaikoura Wilderness Walks reserves the right to alter prices, times, itineraries and, if necessary, arrange alternative transportation and walking arrangements.

For bookings 4 or more months in advance of departure a 20% deposit must be paid with the remainder due 90 days prior to your trip.

For bookings within 4 months (120 days) of departure, full payment is required upon confirmation.

Credit card details are required for payment of deposit which secures your booking.

All hunts must be paid on completion of the hunt.

0 - 30 days prior to departure - NO REFUND

31 - 60 days prior to departure - 50% refund of total package cost

61 + days prior to departure - deposit retained

All deposits are non-refundable

Failure to report for departure - NO REFUND.

Claims for refunds due to circumstances beyond the control of tour operators, service supplier or customer, should be submitted in writing, but no later than 30 days after the date of your walk departure.

It is recommended that customers adequately insure themselves against cancellation charges, failing to meet the departure of the trip due to unforeseen circumstances and the possible loss of money or personal belongings. This is generally covered by comprehensive travel insurance. 

Puhi Peaks and Kaikoura Wilderness Walks strongly recommend taking out personal travel insurance and is not responsible for insurance of its clients

Bookings are only valid for the dates confirmed. 

Kaikoura Wilderness Experience and Puhi Peaks finalise all tour arrangements on the condition that they will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or any irregularity which may arise. 

Either by reason of weather, actions or defaults of any defect in vehicle or through the acts or defaults of any company or persons engaged in either booking passengers or conveying passengers or in carrying out the arrangements of the tours.
